THe parable of the fig tree in the Gospel of Luke is a kingdom parable about the relationhip of Israel on the Gospel. For three years Jesus preached that the kingdom was coming and that people needed to repent and embrace the Kingdom. We embrace the Kingdom of God when we embrace the Son of God.
